Moving to a smaller home? Do you have furniture you won't need? Please donate it to the Furniture Bank, a charitable organization which collects and distributes free of charge donated furniture and household furnishings to clients referred by registered agencies.
Clients are individuals and families referred by over 200 registered Agencies, including Abused Women's Shelters, Covenant House for Youth, Fred Victor Centre, Native Women's Shelter, Red Door Shelter and Yonge Street Mission.

Please help by donating gently used furniture and household items needed to re-establish a home, especially beds, dressers, tables and chairs. Financial donations will enable them to pay for pick-up of donated furniture. They are serviced by former clients, donors and other volunteers. When you phone, leave your name and number. It may take a week or so, but a volunteer will contact you to arrange pick-up.
